Upcoming Taiji Class – Spring 2013

Program: Taiji – Sun style (short form)

Is an expression of beauty in its simplicity of movements and is renowned for its “Qi” development. Characterized by agile steps and flowing movements, this short-form is ideally suited for beginners and yet challenging enough for intermediate players.

Developed by Dr. Paul Lam of Australia in conjunction with a team of Taiji and medical experts, this short-form has gained immense popularity throughout the world, particularly amongst people with Arthritis and is supported by Arthritis foundations worldwide.

Scientific study has shown that this program is effective in relieving the pain and stiffness associated with Arthritis and as a result can improve your quality of life.

Additionally, it is an ideal introduction to the Sun Style Taiji. For those of you who have done this form in the past, this is an excellent opportunity to revisit and fine-tune the movements and to deepen your awareness and understanding of this art form.
